I’ve been in the medical field for 30 years and an acute care nurse for 25 of those years. I’ve always enjoyed a fast-paced environment and taking care of patients with conditions that needed close management and, at times, acute intervention. I obtained my Advance Practice Nursing degree in 2021 and decided to specialize in cardiovascular care. Conditions affecting the heart and vascular system have always been of great interest to me. I wanted to be more involved in the care of cardiac patients and increase my knowledge of the newest diagnostics and treatment. My goal as a nurse practitioner is to assess patients’ needs, educate them about their condition and create a treatment plan that is developed and focused on the best possible outcome. I enjoy spending time with family, friends, and my pup, home improvement projects and traveling.
